Westwood has a very active widows program that began in the 1980's. A group of eleven Westwood members currently comprise a committee that oversees the scheduling of activities for the "Belles." Westwood believes that these ladies are a very important part of our congregation and wishes to help them with their needs whether it be spiritual or consultation on a home or auto repair.
Committee members provide quarterly meals following the Sunday morningservice to share with the ladies along with outings that have included river
cruises, cookouts, holiday banquets, recreational site visits, plays and
other activities.
