Westwood has a very active widows program that began in the 1980's. A group of eleven Westwood couples currently comprise a committee that oversees the scheduling of activities for the "Belles." Westwood believes that these ladies are a very important part of our congregation and wishes to help them with their needs whether it be spiritual or consultation on a home or auto repair.
Committee members take the ladies on outings that include river cruises, cookouts, holiday banquets, visiting recreational sites, among other activities. These gracious ladies also reciprocate and host activities for the committee members. The ladies also have their own monthly luncheon at various local restaurants.
