Nathan George

YOUTH MINISTER

Nathan was born in May 1987 and was raised by his Nana and Papa, Norman and Nancy Pelham. Nathan’s faith has been greatly influenced by his Papa Norman, a longtime–and now retired–pulpit minister.  Nathan is an alumnus of MTSU and graduated in 2010  with a bachelor of arts in history and minors in education and philosophy. He and his wife, Brittany, began attending Westwood while they were still dating and were married at Westwood in June of 2012. Nathan and Brittany have 2 daughters–Lucy and Daisy George. Nathan is the owner of a small business–Nathan's Knick Knacks–where he buys and sells vintage toys and video games. When asked to describe Nathan, the youth group commented:

"He is a really chill guy…10/10 would recommend" - Jillian

"Nathan is a funny, caring, Ninja Turtle loving youth minister." - Lola

"He has culture." - Tucker

"He is committed to being there for ALL of the Youth." - Hope

Elders

Westwood is led by godly elders/shepherds who care for the spiritual needs of the flock and provide oversight for the church's ministries.  Just as the Good Shepherd did, our shepherds seek to lead in love and grace.

We enjoy having a home just off of Red Road along the Collins River.
